1. Objective
  1. Healthy growth of industries has been distorted due to various business frauds in today's business community. Thus, the importance of good industry credibility is even more apparent, as it embodies the fundamental business operations, reputation as well as public perception and image of the company. It is a vital indicator for entrepreneurs when choosing business partners, and for consumers, when selecting a business transaction. We look forward to the development of an "Credible Business Community", which wll definitely benefit credible entrepreneurs.

  2. To encourage and establish a ground for industries to innovate, remodel, more forward e-developed industry and setting an example for other industry player to exemplify and progress.

  3. To enhance and develop opportunities for communication and interaction between local and foreign enterprises. Also create oppurtunities for industries to learn and emulate from each other, forming more joint co-operations as in order to contribute more significantly towards the economic development of the Asia Pacific.

14. Eligibility of Entry

Registration is open to all Malaysian and Asia-Pacific Entrepreneurs, who meets the following requirements :

  1. Established not less than 2 years

  2. Profitable continuously for the past 2 years.

  3. Proven performance in respective industries, including the development of innovative marketing strategies, good business practices and planning, and have also taken the lead in electronic industrization.

  4. He/she and his/her company must not be involved in any kind of business fraud or by any means reprimaded by law in the past one (1) year.

  5. Able to provide third party authentication (e.g. Company Registration documents and allowed to be published on the internet).

  6. Owns a corporate website.
15. Preliminary Selection
  1. Must be nominated by Business Association, Media, Financial Instituition or Government Agency.

  2. The organiser will conduct a preliminary evaluation of the company documents. On-site evaluation may be conducted to determine the eligible finalists.

  3. All finalist will be verified and authenticated by International Business & Search Information company.

  4. The organiser will submit the list of the finalist to the co-organisers, past award's winners (approxiamately 100 of them), for their professional advise and endorsement.

  5. The winners will be notified officially by post.

17. Advertising and Promotions

Extensive news coverage and publicity will be done through collaboration with newspapers and business media;

  1. Full-page advertisement on newspapers on the day of award presentation ceremony.

  2. Publication of the winners in the special edition of "Shanghai" Magazine and Global Business Magazine.

  3. Introduction of the winners in a speciallly constructed HonestyEnterprise.com website which is hyperlinked to over 3,500 international websites.

  4. Arrangement of congratulatory ads for awards winners.
18. Rights & Benefits
  1. Received trophy, certificate, photo portrait with the guest of honour and VCD for the whole day event.

  2. Eligible to use the logo of the award of the year for publicity purpose for 3 years from the date of receiving the award, and entitlement to be the Honorary Member of the Entrepreneur Development Association of Malaysia.

  3. Privilege to participate in the seminars and activities organised by SMI Counselling Center

  4. SMI Financing Advisory and Privilege Services.

  5. A special subsidized web-development or upgrading packages.
