I am happy
to be invited to pen a few words for the "5 th Asia Pacific
International Honesty Enterprise-Keris Award 2006". It
is indeed heartening to see efforts that celebrate and recognize
honesty and integrity of our entrepreneurs.
I believe that in order
for enterprises to excel in business, they must recognize
the importance of integrity to their business success. Integrity
is not merely being honest in determination and excellence.
In fact, integrity should be viewed as a prerequisite for
a sustainable and prolong relationship between the enterprise
and its stakeholders. It represents the confident and trusts
of the consumers on the enterprise and its products or services.
In a competitive globalize
environment, it is crucial for our Malaysian entrepreneurs
to be innovative, creative and stay focus in all aspects.
Besides being more responsive to market needs, we must continue
to value-add our products and services through research and
development (R&D) and equip our human capital.
I wish to commend the
organizing committee for their initiative and commitment in
highlighting the success of entrepreneurship in Malaysia.
I congratulate the winners and I hope this award will inspire
many others to put in more efforts in their endeavor for excellence. |
